Overview
Singapore Metro (MRT) operates a frequent service between airport and city. It is normally necessary to change trains at Tanah Merah: this is an easy cross-platform connection in both directions. Adult one-way fare (September 2019) is S$1.75. See http://www.mytransport.sg/content/mytransport/home/commuting/trainmap.stationusage.html Passengers travelling from the airport to the city are strongly advised to change at Tanah Merah: changing at Expo for the Downtown Line is significantly less easy.
