Accessibility of this website.

IARO intends this site to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We have not completed a formal conformance audit, so we do not claim that it fully conforms. Last reviewed 4 September 2026.

What we have tested

Pages have been checked in a desktop browser, a phone-width viewport and a keyboard-only pass. The site includes a skip link, visible focus styles, labelled form fields, and reduced-motion handling for the map and logo strip. Custom forms use a server-side error summary.

Known limitations

  • Airport Railways of the World is a map plus a matching text list. The list is the accessible equivalent of the map.
  • Some older records still await editorial review and may contain incomplete information.
  • The member library serves PDF files. We can send an alternative format on request where we hold the source.
  • The mobile navigation uses a menu button. If it does not behave as you expect, the footer repeats the main links.
