Film summary and credits
The film has music and no narration. It shows how members can ask the Secretariat for introductions, showcase their organisation through a public profile they publish themselves, and attend conferences and site visits.
Signing in adds planned airport rail schemes, cargo records and research notes, opens the report library and full IARO Express archive, and lets members read and take part in discussions. Website captures are from 3 October 2026: 1,392 railway records and 681 Express issues.
The closing offer is for members who join and pay by 31 December 2026, with membership through 31 December 2027: £195 for an individual or an individual academic, £395 for a small organisation or an academic institution, and £795 for an organisation, excluding applicable VAT. From 1 January 2027 those rates are £245, £595 and £1,200. Pay by card when you join, or ask for an invoice.

The conference, included
One conference place is included per membership. Register separately; places are subject to availability. Travel and accommodation are not included. Additional places follow the arrangements for that event.

The full database
Everyone can use the operational passenger map. Members also see planned schemes, construction, studies, cargo links and the research notes behind each record.

Reports and Express
Read the report library and workshop papers, save useful documents and searches, and explore the searchable IARO Express archive. Reports are £250 each to non-members. The weekly email briefing is free to subscribe to.

Work Groups
Four groups where members work together: air-rail benchmarking, integrated ticketing, sustainability, and architecture and design. Each is to be led by a member, with support from the Secretariat. Only members can join, read and post.

Simple rates.
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). You can also pay in euros (EUR) or US dollars (USD); the application form shows the amounts. Members in the UK pay in pounds. UK VAT is added where the rules require it; the invoice confirms the treatment. A membership taken out now runs to 31 December 2027.
Individual
£195
£195 covers membership through 31 December 2027 if you pay by 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027 the annual rate is £245.
One named person. An individual academic pays this rate, not the institution rate.

Organisations of five or more people, in one legal entity. Not an academic institution.

Organisation membership covers employees of that legal entity, including overseas branches of the same company. It does not automatically cover a wider corporate group. The Secretariat issues named logins. Organisation membership does not automatically create a separate login for every eligible employee; extra named accounts are issued on request. Reports remain £250 each to non-members. Associated industry events: ask the Secretariat about current arrangements. See the membership terms.

The Groupe ADP-hosted conference combined sessions on CDG Express, Grand Paris Express and intermodal journeys with site visits at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
The discussion is available to revisit: the event recap links to recorded sessions, and the member library includes presentations on the CDG Express partnership and a shared air–rail ticketing platform.

Use the public database. Join for research and member access.
The operational passenger map stays public. Membership adds planned schemes, cargo records, reports and introductions.

Two categories
Air-Rail Members and Associate Members.
You do not choose a category when you join: the Secretariat records each member as one or the other. Both receive the same access, and the fee depends only on who is joining.
Air-Rail Member
Operators and project sponsors
Organisations with direct responsibility for owning, funding, commissioning, regulating or operating an airport rail service or an active airport-rail project: airports, rail operators, infrastructure managers, transport authorities and formally constituted project bodies. Airlines join as Air-Rail Members only when they are directly involved in an integrated air-rail product or partnership.
Associate Member
Advisers, designers and suppliers
Organisations that advise, design, build or supply the sector, including consultancies, engineering firms, manufacturers, technology providers, professional advisers, universities and research organisations. Individual membership is an Associate membership for a named person.

- Start with your question. Sign in to find a report, explore the full database or ask the Secretariat for relevant experience.
