Overview
The Chennai Suburban Railway operates trains between city and airport. The station is Tirusulam: it is on the Chennai Beach to Tambaran section. Hard information on the train service is difficult to find, although there is believed to be a frequent (every 10 minutes) service in both directions - see http://www.chennailocaltrain.com/beach-to-tambaram-train-timings-1.html.
