Overview
The airport is on Line 18 of the city's metro (see https://www.chinaairlinetravel.com/airport-guide/chengdu-tianfu/get-to-chengdu-downtown.html for more information). Trains run every 8 minutes between 6:00 and 23:00. Journey time to the city centre is about an hour and the fare Rmb 11, but this depends on your destination in the city. Reportedly there are fast and all-stations trains, taking 35 and 50 minutes.
