Overview
The airport is on the BART subway system, with frequent trains to the city. The station is adjacent to the international terminal, and served by a people-mover or walkways from other terminals. One-way fare between city and airport is $12.10 (November 2025): journey time is 30 minutes. For more information, see http://www.bart.gov/guide/airport/inbound_sfo . You are strongly recommended to consult this, because the ticketing and fare system is complex. There are also trains between the airport and Millbrae, for connections to Caltrain regional rail services to the south.
