Overview
Metrolink run a commuter service (generally, morning and evening peaks only) between the airport and downtown Los Angeles. This serves Burbank Airport South station, a short walk or shuttle bus ride from the terminal. For more information see http://www.metrolinktrains.com/stations/detail/station_id/85.html . The station is also served by Amtrak trains. The downtown station in Los Angeles is referred to as L. A. Union Station on the trip planner. One way fare (May 2018) is $6: journey time (train only) is 33 minutes.
