Overview
Northern Rail provide local services between the airport and Manchester and other destinations in the region north of the city. Journey time is 15-20 minutes - see https://www.northernrailway.co.uk/stations/manchester-airport for more information. Fare (May 2023) is £3.20 one way. Other operators run trains between the airport and the city: some charge different fares.
